Custom growth project
Connect the systems around the search funnel without coupling the website to one vendor.
Design and build the operational handoffs between forms, marketing automation, funnel platforms, analytics, CRM and reporting systems.
Typical timeline: 2–4 weeks · fixed price agreed after scoping
- 01Integration architecture
- 02Webhook/API design
- 03CRM or funnel mapping
- 04Marketing automation
- 05Call tracking setup
- 06Custom dashboards and QA
When to use it
Scope this separately when the opportunity is concentrated enough to deserve a project.
Growth Services sit beside managed search work rather than inside every retainer. The goal is to make scope boundaries clearer, not to create surprise add-ons.
Lead data is copied manually between systems.
Attribution disappears after form submission.
A new funnel platform needs a durable integration architecture.
Project model
Evidence → scope → build → verify.
Define the constraint
Start from the search, funnel or operational evidence that justifies the project.
Lock the scope
Agree the deliverables, required inputs, acceptance criteria and limits on included work.
Implement
Build the agreed work without silently expanding into unrelated tasks.
Verify
QA the output and, where measurable, reconnect it to the visibility or conversion signal that started the project.
Deliverables
What you receive.
Integration architecture diagram
A map of how data moves between forms, funnel tools, marketing automation, call tracking, CRM and reporting, including which system owns each field.
Field and data mapping
A field-by-field mapping between systems, covering lead source, campaign, landing page and consent data, so nothing is lost at handoff.
Configured integrations
Working connections built through native integrations, webhooks or APIs, set up in your own accounts and tested with real submissions.
Automation workflows
Lead routing, notifications, tagging and follow-up rules configured in your marketing automation or CRM, matched to how your sales team works.
Call tracking setup
Where in scope, tracking numbers configured by source, with call data passed into analytics and the CRM alongside form leads.
Runbook and QA log
Documentation of every connection, what to check if something breaks, and a log of the tests we ran before handover.
Timeline
Typically 2–4 weeks.
The exact schedule is set in your proposal. It depends on scope, approvals and how quickly we receive access and inputs.
What we need from you
- Admin access to each system being connected
- An operations or sales contact who knows how leads should be routed
- Approval for any new connector, middleware or API subscription
- Your consent and data-retention requirements
- Week 1
Audit and mapping
We audit current systems and manual steps, then document the integration architecture and field mapping for your approval.
- Weeks 2–3
Build
We configure integrations, workflows and call tracking, using native connectors first and custom webhook or API work where needed.
- Week 4
QA and handover
We test every path with live submissions, fix errors, and hand over the runbook with a walkthrough for your team.
Questions
Common questions about this project.
How is integration work priced?
We scope each project and quote a fixed price in writing before work begins. The quote depends on the number of systems, how many workflows we configure, and whether native connectors are enough or custom API work is needed. Third-party software fees sit outside our quote.
Why not use a connector app for everything?
Connector apps are often the right choice, and we use them where they are reliable. For critical steps, such as passing lead source into the CRM, we check that the connection handles errors and retries properly. Where it does not, a direct webhook or API integration is usually more dependable.
Will this lock us into a specific platform?
No. The integrations run in your accounts, the logic is documented, and we keep the website separate from any single funnel or automation vendor. If you replace a tool later, the field mapping and runbook show exactly what needs to be reconnected, which makes the switch far easier to plan.
Commercial terms
A scoped project—not open-ended hourly billing.
Your proposal sets out the deliverables, fixed project price and agreed labor limit. Work outside that scope requires your approval before it starts.
